Disney Expands Airport Luggage Transfer Service to Caribbean Beach Resort

Getting luggage to and from Walt Disney World just got a little easier for more guests. Beginning August 18, Disney’s Airport Luggage Transfer service has expanded to include Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for eligible domestic flights through Orlando International Airport (MCO). 

The service allows guests staying at participating Disney Resorts Collection hotels to have their checked luggage transferred between the airport and their resort, giving them one less thing to manage on arrival or departure day. 

Participating Disney Resorts 

The Airport Luggage Transfer service is currently available at: 

• Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort 

• Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort 

• Disney’s All-Star Music Resort 

• Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort 

• Disney’s Art of Animation Resort 

• Disney’s Pop Century Resort 

Eligible Airlines 

The service is available for eligible domestic flights on: 

• Southwest Airlines 

• American Airlines 

• United Airlines 

• 
  

For departing flights, eligible guests can drop off their checked luggage at the Airport Luggage Transfer desk at their resort entrance. Their bags will then be transferred directly to Orlando International Airport and checked for their flight.

The addition of Caribbean Beach Resort gives even more Disney guests the option to spend less time dealing with luggage and more time enjoying their arrival or departure day.

Beginning August 25, 2026, Walt Disney Travel Company vacation packages and Disneyland Resort Hotel room reservations will be available for stays throughout 2027. 

Packages will be available for arrivals January 1 through December 31, 2027, giving families, couples and groups the opportunity to start planning next year’s Disneyland adventures.

Disney Cruise Line Reveals Fall 2027 & Spring 2028 Sailings

Disney Cruise Line has unveiled its Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 itineraries-, bringing new ports, returning favorites, and even more options from ports across the U.S. and around the world. 

One of the biggest announcements is the return of Disney Cruise Line to New York City. After completing its inaugural European season, the Disney Wish will arrive in New York in September 2027 for seven special four- to seven-night voyages. The Wish will also join the Disney Fantasy for select five- to seven-night Southern and Eastern Caribbean cruises from San Juan. 

The Disney Magic will make two 14-night Panama Canal crossings, including maiden calls in Fuerte Amador (Panama City) and Colon, Panama. Meanwhile, the Disney Destiny will make its Port Canaveral debut in Fall 2027 with three- to seven-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean itineraries after beginning the season in Fort Lauderdale. 

Port Canaveral will continue to offer plenty of Disney Cruise Line choices. The Disney Wish will return for three- and four-night Bahamian cruises, while the Disney Treasure continues its popular seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings. The Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy will also offer a variety of Bahamas and Caribbean itineraries before select ships reposition to Fort Lauderdale. One standout is an eight-night Disney Fantasy sailing to Bermuda, a first for the ship. 

On the West Coast, both the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will sail from San Diego in Fall 2027, with itineraries visiting Baja and the Mexican Riviera. The Wonder will remain in San Diego into Spring 2028, while the Magic heads through the Panama Canal to Galveston for four- to seven-night cruises. 

Across the Pacific, the Disney Adventure will continue sailing from Singapore, adding new three- and four-night itineraries from September through December 2027. Even sooner, select sailings from December 31, 2026, through May 2027 will introduce Langkawi, Malaysia, as a new Disney Cruise Line port of call. 

Select Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members can begin booking these newly released itineraries August 31, with general bookings opening September 8. Reach out to your agent to find out more information.
