The Beak and Barrel: A New Pirate Pub Experience
Arrrr—foodies and pirate fans, mark your calendars. The Beak and Barrel, a lively pirate pub inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean, sails into Magic Kingdom on August 29, 2025. With reservations opening August 14, this new lounge promises tropical drinks, sing‑alongs, storytelling, small plates, and a cheeky sense of adventure for guests of all ages.
Drinks & Highlights
The Treasure Trove (non‑alcoholic): ube, lemon, coconut—served with sweet bites like vanilla cake plank, chocolate cannonball, and caramel popcorn.
The Cursed Treasure (non‑alcoholic): cookies‑and‑cream style coconut milk with vanilla foam and a pirate’s gold cookie.
Signature Cocktails
Salty Seas mARRRgarita: ube, Lalo Blanco Tequila, Cointreau, lime (vivid purple).
Siren’s Whisper: white rum with citrus and spice, topped with a “siren tear,” inspired by the Fountain of Youth.
Barrels Ablaze: Jack Daniel’s Bonded Bourbon, honey, spice.
Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale: hibiscus, demerara, citrus, finished with prosecco.
Plunderer’s Punch: Kraken Black Spiced Rum, blackberry, vanilla, citrus—served in a limited souvenir pirate skull mug (one per guest).
Additional creative drinks: Port of Call, Lit Fuse, and others featuring unique spirits and flavors.
Food & Small Plates
Kraken’s Catch: chilled octopus salad marinated in citrus with olives, peppers, avocado, and piquillo pepper‑almond foam.
Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes: warm corn cakes with melted cheese, lime sour cream, cotija; choice of roasted corn & poblano or chipotle‑braised chicken.
Island Provisions: shareable platter influenced by Caribbean and Central American flavors—plantain chips, blue corn tortillas, toasted flatbread with savory dips.
Beer & Wine
Exclusive draft beers: Victory Brewing Co. Pirate’s Paradise Blonde Ale and Wicked Weed Berried Treasure Session Sour.
Additional beers: Modelo Especial, Red Stripe, Bell’s Two Hearted IPA, and more in bottled/canned form.
Wines by the glass: selections include Spice Route ‘Chakalaka’ red blend, Quinta de Santiago Vinho Verde, and Viarae Prosecco.
