Disney Adventure Maiden Voyage Postponed to March 2026
The Disney Adventure has been highly anticipated by many Guests as it ushers in a bold new era for Disney Cruise Line. This innovative ship, created by transforming a partially built vessel, promises a fresh and exciting Disney experience at sea.
However, due to unforeseen delays in the shipbuilding process, the maiden voyage of the Disney Adventure will now be postponed to March 10, 2026. This decision ensures that every detail lives up to Disney’s high standards.
This change affects sailings through March 12, 2026. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
To support affected Guests:
Guests booked on the original maiden voyage will be automatically moved to the rescheduled sailing on March 10, 2026, and will receive a 50% discount on their voyage fare. Updated confirmations reflecting the discount will be provided by October 8, 2025. No action is required if Guests can join the new date.
Guests unable to sail on the new maiden voyage may request a refund of amounts paid to the original form of payment by September 21, 2025. These Guests may then apply their 50% discount to a future cruise.
For Guests booked on other cancelled sailings, full refunds will be processed to the original payment method, along with a 50% discount on a future cruise. Future cruises must be booked following cancellation confirmation.
Future cruise discount terms:
Must be booked by March 31, 2026
Travel must depart on or before March 31, 2027
The 50% discount will appear on Guest accounts by October 8, 2025. Bookings made prior to that date will receive updated confirmation statements reflecting the discount within 72 hours.
