What Really Makes this Cruise the "World's Biggest Weekend"?

One year ago, Royal Caribbean took the cruising world by storm when the Utopia of the Seas, the “World’s Biggest Weekend”, debuted and we here at Carry on the Magic can confirm that this ship delivers on that claim.   

We were lucky enough to be on board, as an agency, for the Utopia of the Seas’ one year birthday celebration. Our agents, their partners, and their families gathered for our annual summit. We celebrated both the ship’s and our agency’s success in the past year; we learned, we swam, we ate, we relaxed, and we came home better agents because of it.   

The Utopia of the Seas elevated the Oasis Class within Royal Caribbean's fleet in so many ways. With new venues and old classics, she features updated kids spaces including the cutest play space near the Windjammer and an even longer Ultimate Abyss, a flourishing Central Park now featuring sushi to go at Izumi in the Park, and so many live music venues you won’t know where to go for your entertainment.  Utopia may be the youngest sister, but she definitely is the shining star of the Oasis Class.  

The World's Biggest Weekend brings you to Perfect Day at Coco Cay on Sunday to chase away those Sunday Scaries. Our agents explored every inch of this island. Some rented Cabanas at Coco Beach Club and experienced true luxury and unparalleled service. They dined on lobster with truffle fries or filet mignon and had personal servers to bring them beverages and more. Other agents chose to experience Hideaway Beach, the new adults only experience. They played games in the pool while a DJ spun all day and then enjoyed the over water hammocks as the tide came in. Still other agents took advantage of all the free amenities on the island (if you want to read more about them check out our previous blog post). We can say for certain that we really had the Perfect Day.   

Now we’re home rested, recharged, and ready to use the knowledge we gained on the Utopia of the Seas to continue to serve our clients in the thing we do best…carrying on the magic.
